Daily lunch is a moment of camaraderie that we experience. Everyone practices table manners and the art of conversation, the younger ones look forward to reading aloud during their meal. The shared meal with teachers and pedagogues promotes solidarity and respectful social interaction on an equal footing. This also includes table service: the students share the covering and clearing away on an alternating basis.
Enjoyment and health
Healthy nutrition is a prerequisite for well-being and the ability to concentrate. Be it mashed potatoes or the sauce for the meat – we don’t like the taste of any packaged powder!
The in-house kitchen of St. Anna Association of Schools in Baierbrunn prepares meals fresh every day, does not use any artificial sauces and broths, and pays attention to regional origin and seasonality when buying. A well-balanced ratio of meat and sea fish is a matter of course in the process. We obtain vegetables and fruit fresh every day from on-site suppliers.
The kitchen has EU approval for commercial kitchens and also employs a trained dietary cook.
