Learning time provides the ideal atmosphere in which pupils can complete their homework during the school day in a concentrated way. According to their age, they are challenged to take on responsibility for their learning. That starts with the accompanied learning time in the elementary school and extends right up to personally responsible learning in the upper school. This makes the pupils independent, and they develop a feeling for their own performance level, recognise personal preferences and internalise a self-organised way of working.
Study or quiet (Silentium) rooms are available for the older secondary school students. In the senior classes, they organise their study time themselves. In the process, they’re supported by a mentor.
